T bar S’s Flashover is a male we kept from the SHCH T bar S’s Cajun Mojo and Overton’s Hemi cross born April 18, 2011. We wanted a male that resembled his father, a black male with a white blaze and chest. There was only one male that had a white blaze. Although we had never chosen a dog based on color Flash was a total package. Flash has size, intelligence, willingness to work and conformation. We struggled for several days for a name for Flash. We wanted to stay with the car theme on the stud’s side but just couldn’t find a good fit. We finally decided on Flashover as he’s very flashy and it incorporated the stud's kennel name.
Flash not only is a working dog he is also a Service Dog. Flash became a certified Medical Assist Service Dog on June 25, 2016. This also earned him a service champion title with the NALC.
Flash is a black male with a white blaze, Irish spotting on his nose and some white on his chest and toes. Flash has amber eyes with green around the pupils. Flash's hips were done at two years of age. His hips were done through OFA with an evaluation of Fair.
Flash has really taken to coon treeing and is expected to do well in the coming years. He finished the 2015-2016 NALC season in 13th place overall. His first two shows of the year were disappointing but he really turned it on the second half of the year. Although Flash will bay a hog and seems to really like it, the tree is his happy place. Flash finished the 2016-2017 season in eighth place and finished the top ten in number six.
